Please add an option to select a desired file size when creating a production of point cloud.
Currently there isn't a way to select the desired file size of a point cloud production, so this is the current workflow we are using.
Create an initial point cloud production
Calculating the desired Sampling Size by the following formula:
New Sampling size = Original Sampling size * SQRT (Original File Size / New (Desired) File Size)
For example: New Sampling size = 1 * SQRT (280.682 / 50) -> The new Sampling to recreate a point cloud of 50 MB will be 2.369312.
It will be very helpful and time-saving if this will be implement as follow:
User will select a desired file size instead of sample size (if user select this option).
If not possible to calculate without an original production, it will create this workflow automatically as when creating an Ortho and a 3d model is created first.
