To create the final trajectory, we developed a hybrid file using two outputs from LidarUSA software.

  • ...Extended.txt: Used for structure and template order

  • ...Extended_VL.txt: Used to extract Roll / Pitch / -(Heading+90) values

    • Extended_VL is used for VisionLidar Software


The resulting file (...EXTVL.txt) has proven effective for all our runs. However GoPro's native GPS data often complicates the calibration between the images and the point cloud.
