Could you please provide a setup file only for the itwin viewer ?
It would help my colleagues who do not want to download 3gb just to have the viewer.
The current "bentley view 2023" only supports some file formats, and 3mx is none of them (see screenshot)

But it is of no use. Better is to use Acute3D viewer update10 it doesn't require Bentley login.

The new Itwin Desktop Viewer is only downloadable and "free" if you
own a license to the reality modelling worksuite,
have a Bentley employee share a direct download link that may expire in the future
Already have a copy of the .exe yourself that you host and distribute to those who need it
The Bentley product owners should talk to their users about this and reinstate the publicly available download link for the new Desktop Viewer.
I think that the regression of this capability is extremely concerning and limiting for the Bentley ecosystem we’ve invested in. I hope it isn't a sign of Bentley progressively walling in the ecosystem even further.
An acceptable alternative to the desktop viewer is not the purchase of further bentley products such as online hosting. The old desktop viewer was extremely limited in capability and does not compromise the other specialised Bentley software products by being available. It perfectly fit the very specific use case it served (a client or project stakeholder viweing a 3d mesh from a harddrive or local server before using a more specialised software suite for further use.
