Resulted GS productions are in low resolution. It does indeed recover lost details of thin structures but overall the point density is small and not comparable results to mesh models. When producing point clouds there is at least option to set point density to even 1mm or less.

Can you let us know the version you are using ? We have massively improved the quality of our Gaussian Splats in our Modeler Flex latest releases.
Also, if you are not satisfied with the dentity, please use the tiling option in the Gausian Splat production to increase the overall resolution.
