iTwin Capture Modeler is able to reconstruct urban areas, but produces very large holes in areas with dense vegetation with our current camera setup. In some cases even houses surrounded by trees are not reconstructed at all, despite being visible from multiple photos. In all cases there is very little to no photos rejected during AT.
Modeler algorithm has limitations when creating DSM from challenging scenes. which means reocnstruction suffers. At the same time Correlator3D can produce much better models from same photos so there is room for improvement.
