I hope it comes out in a merged file(obj,fbx etc..) like any other file(3mx,3sm,las etc..)
The current obj, fbx file comes out as a tiled, unmerged file. I need one merged file, so I have to process these one more time. I want a merged file like 3mx, 3sm, or any point cloud file.
Already possible by setting tiling to "no tile" and clamping resolution. If you run out of memory producing such large tile then how to expect that it can be opened later on other less capable machines?
Thank you for your interest in this feature. The main challenge with such functionality is that, at full resolution, merging OBJs quickly becomes unmanageable—especially due to the size and number of textures involved.
To better understand your needs, could you share what behavior you would expect in the product and for what type of application? Would you want this feature to merge the entire scene (which would likely require significant texture downscaling and geometric decimation), or would you prefer merging specific areas that you select using a custom ROI?
Any details you can provide on your expected end-to-end workflow would be extremely helpful.
